My friend once told me there are three hard things in life:

1. Diamonds

2. Steel

3. Knowing yourself

I believe she's right.

I can't really explain my desire to create. I've been creating artwork ever since I can remember. Painting is great. My true passion. Yet it demands patience and courage.

I grew up in Houston, Texas and at the age of 15 traveled to Paris to start my like as a fashion mode. For six years, I worked in Paris, Europe, and New York City. However, today I find myself living in Miami, Florida and have stopped working in the fashion industry to dedicate 100% of my life to the visual arts.

At its best, my work captures my imagination. Inspired by humor and self understanding, I translate these images with different types of paints and materials. Bright colors, patterns, and child like imagery are the core of my works.
